Out with the Old, In with the New
Out with the old...
... in with the new!
No, I will not be driving Tim to work everyday. I am now the proud owner of a Buick Enclave. Yes, I said Buick and no, I am did not turn 67 years old over night (although lately the aching back and swollen feet make me feel considerably older than I am). I never thought I would want a Buick but I did. We started looking at Yukon Denalis but they just didn't seem to make sense for us. And one thing led to another and I ended up really wanting a Buick. Never say never I guess. We were prepared to go and get the white one today but drove away with black. I have never wanted a black car either but I do really like the way the Enclaves look in black and we got a good deal. My justification is that it isn't really black. It is carbon so it is a very metallic black/charcoal. In the sun it looks more charcoal but in the shade it is very much black. It's funny because I had a white car first and loved it. When I went to buy the Lexus, I went to get the white one. I drove all the way to the Mission Viejo Lexus because they had the white one I wanted and I ended up driving away with a blue one. Maybe I wasn't meant to have another white car.
Well, I am now one step closer to being ready for this baby! We start our classes at the hospital tomorrow so we'll see how prepared I feel then! :)

Updates
Still pregnant and it's still a boy! But I am getting bigger by the minute and we are finally getting around to our "nursery corner".

Construction truck! How fitting, huh? Tim picked it out. I actually preferred a cute blue stripped and polk-a-dot theme from Restoration Hardware but it was too hard to say no to Tim's face when we found out there was contruction truck decor.
